To be eligible for the Ph.D. program at Symbiosis Institute of Technology Pune, candidates must possess a Master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (or an equivalent grade). Additionally, applicants must have a valid score in a national-level entrance examination such as GATE/NET/SLET/SET/CSIR-JRF. Candidates who have completed their M.Phil. degree with a research component can also apply. Furthermore, applicants must submit a research proposal highlighting their area of interest and expertise. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview and presentation of their research proposal. The final selection is based on the overall performance in the entrance examination, interview, and proposal evaluation.
