• Minimum educational qualification should be 10+2 and should possess a minimum 50% of a mark in his/her studies as per the norms of Anna University. Candidates should have studied mathematics as one of the subjects in their Higher Secondary level.

LATERAL ENTRY

• A Pass with Minimum average marks in Relevant Subjects as applicable (HSC – Academic or Vocation)
• *Mere pass in the qualifying examination for Diploma examinations as stipulated by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu / B.Sc. Degree examinations / Equivalent.​

A pass in a recognised Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained atleast 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination in 10+2+3 years pattern

10+3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern
(or)
B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm.
(or)
AMIE with 2 years regular full time Teaching experience / Industrial experience in the relevant field after passing all the subjects.

The candidates should appear for the Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducted by Anna University or CET conducted by authorized agency.

10+3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern in any discipline with Mathematics at +2 level and obtained atleast 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.

category) in the qualifying degree examinations.

Degree holders only with 2 Years regular full time Teaching experience / Industrial experience* in the relevant field after successful completion of the course including project work.
* An experience certificate is to be produced by the candidates with AMIE Qualification.
