OASIS Scholarship or Online Application for Scholarship In Studies is a scholarship portal introduced by the Government of West Bengal. The Oasis Scholarship Portal is operated by the Backward Classes Welfare Department as one of the most successful schemes under the WB Government. It is a devoted scholarship portal exclusively for students belonging to ST, SC and OBC categories in the state. The portal includes applications for both pre-matric and post-matric scholarships. It is applicable for students across different study levels such as higher secondary, diploma, bachelor, master and other courses.

• Step 1: Go to the Oasis Scholarship Portal or visit the official website at oasis.gov.in/.  
• Step 2: First, select the ‘Student Registration’ option for 2024-25
• Step 3: Then, select your district from the options and submit it.
• Step 4: Students have to provide their caste certificate number, the issue date of the same and then submit these details.
• Step 5: Also, enter your Aadhar number, date of birth, given captcha code and then tap on the proceed button.
• Step 6: The registration form also requires the class details of the eligible applicant such as previous class passed, year of passing, type of scholarship and others.
• Step 7: As income is the secondary criterion in this scholarship, students have to mention the income details, along with state, district, block and area pin code. 
• Step 8: After securing a new password, students will be redirected to the main registration page.

• Step 1: Visit the official Oasis Scholarship Portal and register on the Student’s Corner section highlighting the Student Registration option. 
• Step 2: After completing the registration process, students have to download their Application Number or Permanent User ID along with the password on the Download Login Information or Acknowledgement Slip.
• Step 3: To complete the application process, students have to log in using their application ID and password. 
• Step 4: After logging in, fill in all the required details such as bank details and others. Tap on the Save and Proceed button.
• Step 5: Lastly, click on the Verify and Lock button to save and submit the application form. 
• Step 6: Candidates after locking the application have to download the completed application form by going to Downalod the Application Form option. 
• Step 7: Lastly, the printed application form along with the necessary documents has to be submitted to the concerned Block Development Officer (BDO) of the block area or to the PO cum DWO of Municipality Corporation. 

The photocopies of required documents such as passport size photo, attested copy of caste certificate or acknowledgement slip and attested copy of mark sheets and certificates of last class examination. Students are advised to fill in all the details correctly and check twice before locking the application form, as no changes can be made once the form is locked.

• Step 1: Visit the Oasis Scholarship, then, click on the Renew Scholarship present on the student’s corner option.
• Step 2: Log in to your account using your login credentials.
• Step 3: Then, the student needs to go through the previously filled details and edit or make changes if required.
• Step 4: After checking and editing the details, you need to click on the Renew Application button. 
• Step 5: Lastly, enter your current academic details and click on the Renew and Lock Application option.
