  • Candidates pursuing education in post-matric courses at any educational institute of West Bengal after qualifying from the state board, madrasa board, or council of secondary/higher secondary board can only apply.

Course-wise Eligibility:

For 11th, UG, or Diploma

  • Candidates need to qualify for matriculation, higher secondary education, or any diploma courses to apply.
  • They have to score at least 75% marks in their last examination to be eligible for the Swami Vivekananda scholarship.
  • The diploma-level candidates should possess a degree certificate in any 2-year diploma course in 3D animation, modern office practice, or pharmacy.

For PG Candidates

  • Those qualifying in honors subjects in graduation are eligible to apply.
  • For honors subjects, 53% is the minimum score allowing students to be allowed to get the financial aid scheme.
  • Students completing their graduation in engineering disciplines have to mandatorily score 55%.

For Kanyashree Candidates

  • Kanyashree applicants who are married or unmarried must be pursuing PG courses in streams of arts, commerce, or science from West Bengal government-recognized universities.
  • Students must hold a valid K-2 ID to continue availing the benefits under the program
  • Candidates need to complete graduation from a recognized West Bengal University.
  • Students applying through Kanyahsree should score at least 45% marks in their graduation.
