Top Class Education Scheme for SC Students is an initiative of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, The goal is to provide equal learning opportunities to all students of India by granting underprivileged Scheduled Caste (SC) students with financial assistance. To be eligible for this government scholarship scheme candidates must belong to SC category have passed Class 12th and have been admitted at the undergraduate or postgraduate level at a covered institution with family income less than INR 8 LPA. The scheme shall be implemented at all institutions designated by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. The top class education scheme for SC students scholarship shall be implemented at all institutions designated by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Under this scholarship scheme, INR 2 LPA of full tuition fee and non-refundable charges will be granted at private sector institutions and up to INR 3.72 LPA for private sector flying clubs for Commercial Pilot Training and Type Rating Courses will be given under this scholarship initiative. Once awarded, the scholarship will be extended until the student completes the course, subject to good performance.

The Scheme would support SC students who choose to continue their education after completing the 12th grade. To be eligible, an applicant must:

• A candidate must be a member of the Scheduled Caste.
• Candidate must have passed Class 12 and enrolled in a full-time programme at a notified institution using the general selection criteria set by the respective institutions
• SC students with a total annual family income of up to Rs. 8.00 lakh and admission to a full-time prescribed course in any of the notified institutions according to the general selection criteria prescribed by the concerned institution will be eligible for the scholarship 
• Thirty percent (30%) of the Institution's seats will be reserved for qualifying SC female students. 
• The top class education scheme for SC students scholarship wiill not pay benefits to more than two siblings in a family.
• Students who have completed class 10 in any Central/State/Municipal Govt. or Govt. aided school (excluding KVS schools) would be immediately qualified under this scholarship scheme.
• The student has to submit a certificate in this respect for this purpose.

The following is a detailed description of what benefits and allowances are to be offered under top class education scheme for SC students.

To apply for top class education scheme for SC students scholarship candidates have to fill up the online application form on the Indian government scholarship’s official website. Candidates must note the scholarship application form should be filled out properly without any mistakes. 

Follow the steps given below to fill out the top class education scheme for SC student's scholarships. 

• Step 1: Visit the NSP official website at tcs.dosje.gov.in
• Step 2: Choose a new user registration link. Go to the front page of the official website and select the "New User Registration" link. Read the rules carefully, choose the undertaking, then click 'Continue'. 
• Step 3: Enter the applicant's name, date of birth, cellphone number, and email address, as well as the state of residence, scholarship category, scheme type (scholarship scheme), and gender.
• Step 4: Enter your bank information (bank name, IFSC code, and account number).
• Step 5: As an identity detail, choose Aadhaar or a bank account number and click the 'Register' button.
• Step 6: The cellphone number will be verified, and an OTP will be created.
• Step 7: Now, log in using your OTP, and click the Login to Apply link on the home page. 
• Step 8: Now fill the up the TCS scholarship application form carefully with all the required details and upload the required documents 
• Step 9: When you press the submit button, your scholarship application will be successfully submitted. The application form should be printed and saved for later use.

• Institutes included in the list of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) A++ and A+ Accredited Institutions

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India has released the upcoming plan for this scholarship scheme about how many scholarships will be offered from 2021 till 2026. • In the event that no female students are available, 30% of the scholarships will be reallocated to male students. 
• If the students fail the final exams each year, the scholarship will be canceled.  
• A family's scholarship will not be awarded to more than two children. 
• Beneficiaries of scholarships under the previously updated Top Class Scholarship Scheme for SC students will continue to be aided till they complete the degree for which they are receiving the scholarship
• The scholarship will be paid out immediately once a student has been admitted and has begun attending college.
• The Central Government will pay tuition fees, other non-refundable expenses, and academic allowance directly to students via Direct Benefit Transfer. Students must pay their fees to the institute promptly and, in any event, within one month after receipt.
