AMU PGD programme is offered at the postgraduate diploma level in management. The course is of a total duration of 1-2 years duration. The PGD course at AMU is offered in 4 specialisations, including Personnel Management, Journalism, Public Relations, etc. Candidates who have passed a relevant UG degree with 50% aggregate can apply for the AMU PGD course.

• Candidates must have passed a  Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture or a relevant stream.
• Candidates must have passed the UG degree with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.

Admission to the AMU PGD programme is merit based. There is no requirement of entrance exam for admission. Apart from this, candidates also need to appear for group discussion and personal interview rounds as the final selection criteria. The step-by-step AMU PGD admission is given below:

Step 1: Check Eligibility: Candidates must verify the minimum educational qualification and specific requirements for the chosen PGD programme.

Step 2: Fill the Online Application Form: Complete the AMU PGD application form with academic and personal details.

Step 3: Pay the Application Fee: Submit the required fee online and keep the receipt for future reference. Upload academic certificates, ID proof, photograph, signature and any other required documents.

Step 4: Selection Process: Since there is no entrance exam, candidates are shortlisted based on academic merit. Shortlisted candidates must appear for the GD and/or PI rounds as final selection criteria.

Step 5: Final Merit List Announcement: AMU prepares the final selection list based on academic merit + GD/ PI performance.

Step 6: Final Admission: Selected candidates must present their original documents for verification and pay the required programme fee to confirm the seat.
