AMU Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

The establishment of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in 1920 was done so in order to provide top-notch instruction in several fields. It currently offers UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate, and Doctorate level programmes in 13 faculties. Foreign applicants may be admitted to Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). Additionally, seats are set aside for students from the SAARC and Commonwealth nations. The students may also be admitted to centres, colleges, and schools affiliated with AMU. • The Departmental Admission Test (conducted in Aligarh) and the Entrance Exam are the two methods used for admission to AMU (conducted at designated centers).
• Candidates' performance on the Admission Test (All India Level) administered by AMU determines their eligibility for admission to B.Sc. (H), BA (H), B.Com. (H), and BSW. Exam for controllers.
• Admissions to the B.Sc. (H) in Agricultural Science, B.A. (H) in Shia, Sunni, or Foreign Languages, BRIT, B.P.Ed, and B.Li.Sc. are made through the admissions test that is administered by the relevant AMU department.
• The entrance exams for BA-LL.B., B.Ed., and MBA are only held in Aligarh, Kozhikode, and Kolkata.
• While BE (Evening) admissions are made based on Written Tests, B.Tech./B.Arch. admissions are made based on the AMUEEE, which is held at various locations.
• To be admitted to MBBS, BDS, and BUMS, you must have a valid NEET score.
• Admission tests for MCA, M.Sc., MA, M.Ed., M.F.A., M.Li.Sc., M.P.Ed., MIRM, MFA, and MHRM are solely administered by the relevant AMU departments.
• Candidates who have completed GATE can apply for the M.Tech programme. AMU administers its own Departmental Admission Test for any open seats.
• A valid NEET PG or NEET MDS score is required for admission to the MD/MS or MDS programmes.
• To grant admission to the Ph.D. programme, AMU administers a Written Test and then conducts an Interview.

AMU Admission Process

Admissions to AMU are only available online. The university conducts admissions for UG and PG courses through a single-window counselling process, in which a large number of applicants applied. The majority of the admission at Aligarh Muslim University are based on the results of the entrance examination, which is followed by a counselling process. Candidates who meet the course's eligibility requirements can apply online through the university's official website. AMU Application Process

• Candidates can only apply for admission to Aligarh Muslim University online. The AMU Admission form 2023 will not be accepted in any other mode. A candidate must submit only one application for each course of study. To be admitted to AMU programmes, follow the steps outlined below:
• Visit the AMU Admission portal or the University's website at www.amucontrollerexams.com for more information.
• The candidate should then register online and provide a valid and functional email address, as the username and password, among other things, will be sent to this address.
• Candidates should only register once in order to apply to multiple courses.
• After registering, the candidate must login with his or her username and password. The candidate's dashboard will be available for filling out the form.
• The candidate should carefully complete his or her Profile. After saving the Profile, the candidate will be asked to review and confirm the information entered.
• Candidate should provide information about his or her educational qualifications, including the names of all examinations passed, including qualifying examinations, year of passing, Examination Roll No., University/Board from which passed, and percentage/CGPA obtained.
• Upload the necessary documents for admission, as well as a thumb impression and colored photographs.
• The application fee must be paid online only. The AMU Admission fee cannot be paid offline.
• When the candidate pays the processing fees and the payment is successful, the Application Form is submitted electronically.
• Candidates must print the Application form and save it for future reference. 

Note: After confirmation, the candidate will not be able to edit or update his or her profile. If a candidate discovers an error in his or her Profile after confirmation, he or she must re-register with a new Username and Password to complete all entries from scratch.

Documents Required for AMU Admission 2023-2024

• A scanned copy of the candidate's birth certificate/high school diploma.
• Photographs in passport size. 
• Scanned copy of qualifying examination marks sheet/grade sheet.
• Scanned copies of documents supporting the claim under the special category, if applicable.
• Documents in support of Professional Experience, if any, must be scanned.
• If currently employed, a scanned copy of the employer's No Objection Certificate.

AMU Centre of Distance Education offers distance education admissions to a variety of courses such as UG, PG, Diploma, and so on. Admission to all of those courses is done on a merit basis determined by university officials. Interested students must complete an application form by visiting the AMU Centre of Distance Education's official website. There is no requirement to obtain a ranking in the entrance exam, and admission is solely based on merit. Both online and offline application processes are available.

AMU Distance Education Application Process 2023-24

• The application is available in both offline and online versions. There is a 300 Rs application fee for all programs.
• To apply for online admission, complete the application form and upload scanned copies of supporting documentation.
• Candidates must send the application form, two copies of the required documentation, and seven passport-size photos to apply for admission offline.
• When making a decision, the candidate's performance in the previous qualifying exam, which the applicant completed, is taken into account.

In the months of May and June, AMU holds examinations for their courses. The exam results will be available soon on their website. Candidates can obtain their results by visiting the university's official website. They can view the university results by inputting their registration numbers and password.
