Yes, students with 1 year gap after their interim exam are eligible for admission to the BPT course at the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. Yes, students with a three year gap after their intermediate (Class 12) exam are eligible to appear for BMLT course at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences. Admissions are based solely on the qualifying exam and the EAPCET result. There's no rule against academic gaps mentioned in eligibility guidelines.

Yes, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad does offer an M.Sc. in Genetic Counselling for the 2025–26 academic year. Admission to MSc Genetic Counselling at NIMS is through the NIMSET (NIMS Screening Test).
