The university offers UG, PG, Research, Diploma, and, PG Diploma courses in disciplines like Sanskrit, Music, Shastri, Phalit Jyotish, Computer Applications, and, other related subjects. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited by the NAAC. The Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishvavidyalaya Varanasi admission is based on the Entrance Test conducted by the university. More than 1200 Sanskrit-medium schools and colleges across the country are affiliated with SSV.
