It is a three year Nutrition and Dietetics degree programme that produces graduates with strong basic concepts of nutrition and diet planning which help in crafting skilful and hospitality industry ready nutrition experts for addressing the health challenges.
Eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.
LPU offers B.sc In Nutrition and Dietetics which will help you in Constructing strong basic foundation in concepts of nutrition and diet plan, thus crafting skillful and be a notion ready nutritional experts for addressing the health challenges. If you have an inborn interest in cooking and exploring various cuisines from different countries, nutrition and dietetics is one subject which will help you explore how to design controlled diets. Based on the body mass index, you can design your own food charts that would summarize the quantity of fats, carbohydrates, and proteins which must be consumed everyday.
