    Dr D. Y. Patil College of Physiotherapy (DYPCP), Pune provides admission in Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Master of Physiotherapy program. Admission to all the programs will be done on the basis of merit prepared by considering candidates’ performance in  All India Post Graduate Physiotherapy Entrance Test 2019 (AIPGPET-19) entrance exam. Only 85% of the total intake available for both the degrees programs are available for Indian students. Candidates are thus advised to check the eligibility criteria before moving to the application process. The application fee for the All India Allied Health Common Entrance Test -2019 (AIAHCET -2019) entrance exam is INR 1050 and INR 1300 with late fees.

    DYPCP, Pune BPT Eligibility Criteria 2020

    Candidates who are looking for admission in Bachelor in Physiotherapy must satisfy each of the conditions mentioned below in order to get eligible for admission.

    • The candidate may be NRI/ PIO/ Foreign National or Indian National. Besides this, the candidate is required to produce proof in his / her Nationality from a District Magistrate, Additional Magistrate or Metropolitan Magistrate. Valid Passport will also be considered as sufficient proof of Nationality.
    • Candidates with a minimum age of 17 years are allowed to appear for AIAHECT entrance exam. The Secondary School Certificate (i.e. SSC) or equivalent examination certificate or the certificates of age and nationality endorsing the date of birth will constitute the valid proof. 
    • The candidate must be medically fit and must submit a certificate of medical fitness.
    • Candidate must have passed in the subject of Physics, Biology, Chemistry(PCB) and English individually and must have obtained at least 50% marks taken together in PCB at the qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 examination. Other candidates belonging from ST, SC or any other backward classes must have obtained at least 45% marks as stated above with English as a compulsory subject in 12th for being eligible for admission in the BPT program. 

    DYPCP, Pune MPT Eligibility Criteria 2020

    Candidates who are looking for admission in Master in Physiotherapy must satisfy each of the conditions mentioned below in order to get eligible for admission.

    • Candidates who hold a bachelor degree from any of the recognised university may apply for entrance exam and admission in MPT Program. 
    • Any candidate who has completed a 6 month internship period or is likely to complete the same on or before 1st 31 July 2019 can appear for the All India Post Graduate Physiotherapy Entrance Test (AIPGPET-19).

    Candidates need to visit the official website of the college, http://admissions.dpu.edu.in in order to apply for admission. Here candidates need to fill all the required information and click on the Apply Now button. A dashboard will open in front of them. Candidates will then receive ID and password on their email provided. These login details will be required while login. Candidates can then upload the required documents and then they can proceed to pay the application fee.  Once completed, they may proceed to submit the completed form. Candidates can not make any changes to the application form once submitted. A link will be provided on the page, candidates may access it for downloading the receipt and application form.

    Candidates who have applied for the program must have appeared for the All India Allied Health Common Entrance Test -2019 (AIAHCET -2019) entrance exam. Selection for the programs will be done on the basis of academic scores and scores in the entrance exam. Once selected, candidates may proceed to submit the course fee for finalising their seat.
