FMMC Mangalore MBBS Admission

  • Two year P.U.C Examination conducted by the P.U.C Board, Karnataka State with English and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects or any other examination recognised as equivalent by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences .

Or

  • Intermediate Examination in science of an Indian University Board or other recognised examining body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, which shall include a practical test in three subjects and also English as compulsory subject

Or

  • First year of the three year degree course of a recognised university with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in these subjects provided the examination is an 'University Examination.

Or

  • B.S.C Examination of an Indian University, provided that he/she has passed the B.SC. examination with not less than two of the following subjects-Physics,Chemistry, bIology (Botony, Zoology) and further that he/she has passed either the qualifying examination with the following subjects : Physics,Chemistry,Biology and English.

Or

  • Any other examination whose scope and standard is found to be equivalent to the intermediate science examination of an Indian University / Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in each of these subjects and English.

Or

  • Candidates must have obtained not less than 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination.In the case of scheduled caste, Scheduled tribe candidates, the minimum marks required for admission shall be 40%.
  • The candidates should have completed 17 years on or before 31st day of December of the year of admission.

  • The candidate should be a graduate in Medicine (M.B.B.S)from any university recognised by the Medical Council of India.
  • The candidate should have completed satisfactorily the Rotating compulsory internship of one year in an institution recognised by the Medical Council of India
  • he candidate should have obtained permanent Registration of any State Medical Council.
  • No candidate shall be admitted to any post graduate degree / diploma course unless the candidate has obtained and produced the eligibility certificate issued by the University. The candidate who is provisionally selected has to make an application to the University with the following documents along with the prescribed fee:
    • MBBS pass/degree Certificate issued by the university
    • Marks Cards of all the University examinations passed MBBS course
    • Attempt Certificate issued by the principal
    • Completion of Internship Certificate

FMMC Mangalore MHA Admission

To be eligible for admission a candidate shall have obtained:

  • Bachelor degree in any one of the following from an institution recognized by respective council where applicable, and is affiliated to RGUHS –viz., MBBS, BDS, B.Sc Nursing (Basic or Post basic) B. Pharm, B.Sc.in Allied Health Sciences, or from any other university established under law considered equivalent thereto by RGUHS. The candidate shall have obtained permanent registration in the respective state council where applicable.

OR

  • Bachelor degree in Arts, Commerce, Law, Engineering or Management of a University established under law and recognized by the University Grants Commission and shall have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate of marks in all the years of university examination of degree course. In case of SC/ST candidates the minimum marks shall be 45%.

FMMC Mangalore MPT Admission

  • Candidates who have passed B.Sc. (PT) or BPT degree from institutions where the mode of study is a full time program, with minimum 3½ years / 4 ½ years duration from this university or any other university in India or abroad as equivalent with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate and have completed 6 months of compulsory rotating internship in Physiotherapy Colleges recognized by RGUHS - Karnataka are eligible. Candidates who have passed BPT through correspondence or Distance Education program are not eligible.

OR

  • Candidates who have passed BPT through Bridge Course or through Lateral Entry after completing their Diploma in Physiotherapy from institutions where the mode of study is a full time program from this university or any other university in India or abroad as equivalent with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate and have completed 6 months of compulsory rotating internship in Physiotherapy Colleges recognized by RGUHS - Karnataka are eligible. Candidates who have passed BPT through correspondence or Distance Education program are not eligible.

  • A pass in B.Sc MLT course from institutions affiliated to RGUHS, or from other Universities considered equivalent by RGUHS.
  • A candidate who has completed B.Sc. in Clinical Biochemistry/Medical Biochemistry or B.Sc in Clinical Microbiology/Medical Microbiology are eligible to join for M.Sc MLT in Clinical Biochemistry or M.Sc MLT in Microbiology and Immunology respectively.
  • Candidates passing B.Sc MLT through correspondence course shall not be eligible.

A candidate seeking admission shall have studied English as one of the principal subject during the tenure of the course shall have passed:

  • Two year Pre-University examination or equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences with, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects of study.

OR

  • Pre-Degree course from a recognized University considered as equivalent by RGUHS, (Two years after ten years of schooling) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects of study.

OR

  • Any equivalent examination recognized by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore for the above purpose with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects of study.

  • The vocational higher secondary education course conducted by Vocational Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala with five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in addition to vocational subjects conducted is considered equivalent to plus TWO examinations of Government of Karnataka Pre University Course.

OR

  • Candidates with two years diploma from a recognized Government Board in a subject for which the candidate desires to enroll, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, as subjects or candidates with 3 years diploma from a recognized Government Board in a subject for which the candidate desires to enroll, should have studied Physics, Biology and Chemistry as subjects during the tenure of the course.

OR

  • Lateral entry to second year for allied health science courses for candidates who have passed diploma program from the Government Boards and recognized by RGUHS, fulfilling the conditions specified above under sl. No. 5 and these students are eligible to take admission on lateral entry system only in the same subject studied at diploma level
