Geeta Institute of Education offers a total of three courses in the stream of Education including Bachelors, Diploma and Masters level programs. The courses which are offered by GIE include Bachelors of Education (B. Ed), Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), and Masters of Education (M. Ed). The admission for courses in Geeta Institute of Education is done on the basis of merit obtained by the students in qualifying examination.

In order to get eligible for admission to Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) in Geeta Institute of  Education, the candidates will have to fulfil the given below eligibility criteria:

• The candidate must have passed class 12 or an equivalent degree from a recognised school/ board with English as one of the main subjects.

• The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for the reserved candidates)  in the qualifying examination.

• The candidates who belong from ST/ SC/ Other Backward Castes/ differently-abled category will have to acquire a minimum aggregate of 47.5% in the qualifying degree.

• The candidate must have passed entrance exam conducted by SCERT Gurgaon with a valid score.

The selection of candidates in Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)  at Geeta Institute of Education is done on the basis of merit obtained by the student in SCERT entrance exam.

Based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the SCERT entrance exam, the counselling process is conducted to provide admission to the D.El.Ed program for eligible candidates.

In order to get eligible for admission to Bachelors of Education (B. Ed) in Geeta Institute of  Education, the candidates will have to fulfil the given below eligibility criteria:

• The candidate must have passed a Bachelor's degree in any stream from either Kurukshetra University, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak,  CDLU, Sirsa or any other Institute recognised by Government.

• The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% in the Bachelor's degree level with all the subjects put together and without rounding off of percentage.

• The candidates who belong from ST/ SC/ Other Backward Castes/ differently-abled category will have to acquire a minimum aggregate of 47.5% in the qualifying degree.

• The candidates who have passed a Masters degree in a relevant stream can also apply for admission.

The selection of candidates for admission to Bachelors of Education program in Geeta Institute of Education is done on the basis of merit obtained by the student in the qualifying examination.
