A government-accredited state-level eligibility requirement for teachers hoping to be hired for primary and secondary schools is the TSTET Examination. The officials have not yet released the application announcement for the TSTET Exam for the 2023–2024 academic year. The application notice for 2023 is anticipated to be released around March or April of that year, based on the timing of the previous year's application release. By completing the application form, interested candidates can apply for the desired position.

In Telangana State, the Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad Schools, Private Aided Schools, and Private Unaided Schools all administer the TSTET exam to hire teachers for classes I through VIII. There are two papers in the TSTET written exam. Paper-I is for candidates who want to teach grades I through V, and Paper-II is for those who want to teach grades VI through VIII. The official announcement for the TSTET 2023 exam has not yet been made. The announcement contains all pertinent dates and information on the upcoming test cycle, including exam dates, application costs, exam formats, syllabuses, and other pertinent information. According to the timing of notification releases in recent years, it is possible that the officials will soon announce the date, possibly in March 2023. The announcement is posted on the authority's official website.

TSTET 2023 Selection Process

Candidates will be chosen based on their performance in the Tripura State Government's TSTET Entrance Exam 2023. Following the exam, the exam conducting authorities will compile a merit list from which candidates will be chosen. Shortlisted candidates will be chosen based on their performance in the Entrance Exam. Following that, candidates will be invited to participate in a Final Round Personal Interview.

TSTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for TSTET 2023 exam, candidates must have a BEd/ DEd/ Language Pandit or similar qualification. TSTET scores are given 20% weightage in state-run teacher recruitment exams, while the Teacher Recruitment Exam is given 80% weightage (TRT).

There is no limit to how many times a candidate can attempt to obtain a TSTET certificate. "A person who has qualified in the TET examination may also appear again for enhancing his/her score," according to the official website. The following are the eligibility criteria for Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the TSTET:

TSTET Paper 1 Eligibility Criteria (Classes 1 to 5)

In order to meet the TSTET 2023 eligibility criteria, candidates applying for Paper 1 must meet one of the following criteria.

  • Students must have completed Class XII or an equivalent course with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD candidates). 
  • Candidates must have completed a two-year elementary education diploma, a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B El Ed), or a two-year education diploma (special education).
    Or
  • Students must have completed Class XII or equivalent with a minimum aggregate score of 45 percent (40 percent for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD candidates).
  • Candidates must have completed a two-year elementary education diploma/ a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B El Ed), or a two-year education diploma (special education). This eligibility requirement is only valid for candidates who passed or were admitted to D El Ed/ D Ed before the TSTET 2022 notice was released.

TSTET Paper 2 Eligibility Criteria (Classes 6 to 8)

In order to meet the TSTET 2022 eligibility criteria, candidates applying for Paper 2 must meet one of the following criteria.

  • Students must have completed a BA/ BSc/ BCom with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD candidates). 
  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Education (BEd) or Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree (B Ed- Special Education).
    Or
  • Candidates must have completed their BA/ BSc/ BCom with a minimum of 50% aggregate (40 percent aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD candidates).
  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Education (BEd) or Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree (B Ed- Special Education). This qualifying requirement applies solely to candidates who passed or were accepted into the BEd program prior to the publication of TSTET 2022 rules.
    Or
  • Candidates must have completed a four-year BA Ed/BSc Ed program with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD candidates).
    Or
  • Students must have completed a four-year BA Ed/BSc Ed program with a minimum of 50% overall (45% overall for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD candidates).

The steps to apply fill TSTET 2023 application form are mentioned below: 

  • To fill Telangana TET 2023 application form, go to the Telangana government, department of school education's official website. 
  • Before you begin filling out the form, read all of the details carefully. Only online applications are accepted. 
  • Create a profile on the portal using your relevant email address before collecting application forms using the online mode. 
  • Fill in all of your educational information, including your grades from previous exams.
  • Then, in the format specified, upload scanned pictures and signatures. 
  • Submit the application form.

TSTET 2023 Qualifying Marks

TSTET 2023 qualifying marks for different categories are mentioned below. Candidates are required to score accrodingly in order to clear the examination.

For Differently abled cadidates, following points need to be noticed in order to qualify the exam:

  • Differently abled candidates with atleast 40% of disability only shall be considered in respect of visually and orthopedically disabled.
  • With regard to Hearing Impaired candidates, a minimum of 75% disability shall be considered under PH category.

TSTET 2023 Admit Card

TSTET 2022 Admit Card will be released on the official website of TSTET. Candidates could download their TSET 2023 admit card from the official website according to the Schedule. Candidates must complete the steps mentioned below to download their admit card.

  • Go to TSTET Official Website
  • Select the option ‘’download Hall Ticket’’ 
  • Enter Candidate Id and Date of Birth
  • Click on the Submit.

The admit card for TSTET 2023 will display on the screen. After downloading the admit card, candidates must check for any discrepancies in information (such as the candidate's name, photograph, signature, and so on) and promptly submit them to the exam authorities for correction. If all of the information on the admit card is correct, candidates should take its printout and carry it to the examination center.

TSTET 2023 Examination Centre

TSTEST 2023 examination will be conducted in all the 33 districts of the state of Telangana. Candidates can choose their preference for particualr examination centre. In case seats are exhuasted in a particular centre then that centre will not be dispalyed in the list of examination centers given in the online application form. In such case, candidates are required to choose the Examination Centre (District) of their choice from the remaining list available.
