Bachelor in Technology:

•   The selection process in the Engineering courses depends on the JEE, WBJEE and NPAT. The initial requirement is to complete 12th from a recognized board and score a minimum of 45% aggregate.
•   The next step in the selection procedure is to attempt the common entrance tests and wait for the bank details. Depending on the ranks counselling will be conducted and so will the allotment letter be provided to eligible students.
•   If students have not attempted the common entrance examinations, then the NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata will conduct internal assessment examinations such as the NPAT etc. Then the list of shortlisted candidates will be released which will confirm the direct admission into the Bachelor in Technology at the NSHM Knowledge Campus Kolkata.

Lateral Entry (B. Tech):

•   The selection of the lateral entry engineering students will be based on the JELET entrance test. This is conducted similar to JEE and other examinations and counselling is conducted for the same.
•  Students who have done a 3-year polytechnic Diploma course instead of 12th, have this option to avail admission directly in the 2nd year of the course, which is basically called lateral entry.

Bachelor in Science:

•   This is a 3-year long course and the selection process involves candidates securing good scores in their 12th and attempting the NPAT if no other external competitive examinations are attempted. •   The counselling procedure is not applicable to the admissions into the Bachelor in Science programs.

Bachelor in Computer Applications:

Undergraduate Programs

The admissions into the B. Tech courses are provided with both, on the basis of counselling as well as direct admissions. The NSHM Knowledge Campus Kolkata has a lot of seats in a plethora of programs provided via the counselling procedure.

The counselling process is basically a joint effort by the government, academic bodies and examination councils to provide seats in the programs on a merit basis and at an affordable cost to students. The process begins with students applying for the required common entrance tests to fill in the eligibility criteria for the particular course of choice.

Once the exam is attempted and results are out, a structure is created on the merit basis, wherein the initial rank holders get the first date and a counselling centre to select the seats in any college they want as the selection is done in an ascending rank order basis. The better the rank of the student the more options they can avail themselves of.

After the selection of the seats is done, they will be provided with an allotment letter which has to be submitted to the specific college to confirm the government seat allotted in the counselling.

• For B.Sc in Gaming and Mobile Application Development, the candidate must have passed 10 + 2 with an individual pass mark in Computer Science/ Mathematics as a paper from a recognised board in India or equivalent. 
• To be eligible for B.Sc in Lab Technology candidate must have passed from a recognized board in India or equivalent in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.

MBA admission at NSHM Knowledge Campus can only be granted to a candidate who meets the eligibility criteria specified by the institute.

Exams Accepted: CMAT, MAT, XAT, CAT, JEMAT

Documents Required: 10th Certificate, 12th Certificate, Graduation Certificate, Entrance Exam Scorecard, Application Form, Admission Receipt.

Candidate must have Passed 12th examination with Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics as compulsory subjects with at least 45% marks. Besides this, candidates belonging from reserved categories must have scored at least 40% marks. He/ She must have passed English in X & XII examination with a minimum of 30% marks. The minimum age requirement for the program is 17 years as on 1 July of the admission year.

Candidates aspiring for admission to the BOptom course offered by NSHM Knowledge Campus must have passed Class 12th from a recognized board. In addition, the candidate must have completed Class 12th in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and any of Biology/Maths as subjects.

Candidate must have passed Class 12th / 10 + 2 from a recognized board. Candidates from all streams are eligible to apply. Candidates who are appearing for the Class 12th final examinations are also eligible to apply for BBA admissions at NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata.

Any candidate who wishes to fill the MPharm application form for NSHM Knowledge campus must have completed a B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) course with at least 55% marks. Candidates belonging from reserved categories must have scored at least 50% marks. The qualifying course must have been completed from a recognized university or institute.

Any candidate who seeks admission to the Master of Hospital Administration at NSHM Knowledge campus must have information about the MHA eligibility criteria of NSHM. Only the candidates who have a graduation degree with a valid score of MAT/ WBJEMAT will be considered eligible for the course.

Candidates interested in applying for the MOptom course from NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria specified by the institute. Candidate must have passed a BOptom course from a recognized university in India or equivalent.

Only the candidates who have completed their graduation from a recognized university in India must apply for these MSc courses at NSHM Knowledge Campus.

Those candidates who are aspiring for BCA admissions at the NSHM Knowledge campus must first check that they meet the eligibility criteria of the course.
