OM Sterling Global University Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

The process for admission is simple and straightforward that can be carried out by any individual. It is based on the scores that a student attains in their previous academic exams and whether it fulfils the admission criteria for their respective applied courses. The OM Sterling Global University admission process can be carried out in two modes, online and offline. Both methods have a step-by-step guide which will be mentioned in this section. The university's main target is to select eligible candidates based on merit, and sometimes students get some relaxation in their scores if they fall under a specific category.

OSGU offers many types of courses in almost all major streams such as – Engineering and Technology, Hospitality Management, Legal Studies, Applied Sciences, Agriculture, Architecture, Planning, Performing and Fine Arts, Commerce and Management, Health Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Media and Mass Communication, Yoga and Naturopathy, Vocational Studies, Social Science and Humanities, and Teacher Education. 

The application forms for all the courses are available online on the university's website and at the admission department situated on the campus. All the students must fulfil the eligibility criteria to get admission to the desired course; the criteria for all the courses will be discussed in detail in this section itself. 

Suppose a student wants to get admission to a course during the mid-term. In that case, the migration can only be possible if the student has completed the previous examination according to the guidelines set by OSGU for the specific course. The entrance exams that the university holds will mostly be conducted in the university itself, and some of them might be conducted at different colleges affiliated with the university. 

All students must have cleared their previous examination by a nationally recognized board of education and the universities affiliated with the AIU. According to the Government guidelines, 25% of the seats are already reserved for students from Haryana. All admissions requests will be entertained only if the application fees are paid off, and the relevant documents are submitted on time. The university also provides some specific concessions to 25% of the students from Haryana.

There are two ways in which a person can apply for a course:

The Application process of the university can be followed by two methods:

1. Online Method- The students will have to apply for the course online on the university website. After applying and paying the applicable fees for the course, the student will have to submit all the relevant documents related to the specific course, and after verifying the eligibility criteria and the documents submitted by the student, the university provides admission to the student.

2. Offline Method- In the Offline method, the student will have to visit the university campus and fill out the hard copy of the application form received from there. The student can then make the payment for the application via card or cash and then the students will have to submit the relevant documents physically to the OSGU Admission Portal. Once the documents are verified and the eligibility criteria are met, the students are given admission to the desired course.

The B.Tech courses offered by the university have been designed in a way that they are able to teach the students about the functioning of the specific IT model and also help them to innovate in certain aspects in their own way. The subjects include- Electromagnetic Theory, Quantum Mechanics, Oscillations, Waves and Optics, Semiconductor Physics, Practical Based on Basic Electrical Engineering, Basic Electrical Engineering, Mechanics, High-Speed Networks Technologies, .NET Technologies, Microprocessor & Interfacing Lab, etc.

The university offers advanced M.Tech courses for all the students who have completed their bachelor’s in a specific stream. The subjects include- Advanced Microprocessors, Theory of Computation, Research Tools for Computer Science and Engineering Lab, Technical Writing and Effective Communication Skills, etc

This course helps the students to enhance their creative problem-solving abilities through the use of computer-based applications. This helps to make a strong foundation in the computer sciences. The subjects include- PC Software Lab, Logical Organization of Computer, Management Information System, Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Computing, etc.

This course focuses on developing the computer abilities of the students in such a way that they can easily cope with the changing technological world and give their input accordingly. The subjects include- Artificial intelligence, Cryptography and Network Security, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Document Processing and Retrieval.

 The certification course offered at the university gives an insight into how students use and work on different tools for website development and graphic designing. The course includes subjects’ like- HTML & JavaScript, Illustration, Adobe Fireworks, Flash for Design & Web Animation, Swish, Action Script, Adobe Premiere, Dreamweaver, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and different types of Web Page Design and Assignment & Portfolio Building.

The Diploma courses offered by the university help students to get a fair idea about the working of an aircraft, some of the basic fire safety rules, and much more. The basic subjects include- Engineering Drawing, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering subjects, Air Law, etc.

This course helps the students to get a good sense of hotel management and trains them to be ready for the culinary world.
