What is the AISECT University Entrance exam, AJEE?

AISECT Joint Entrance Exam (AJEE) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by AISECT University Hazaribagh for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The exam is conducted in online mode only. The AJEE 2024 will be a computer-based test (CBT) of 2 hours duration. The exam will consist of three sections, i.e., physics and chemistry, English and logical reasoning, and Mathematics.

There are eight specialisations offered under the B.Sc programme, namely, B.Sc in Agriculture, B.Sc in Zoology, B.Sc in Physics, B.Sc in Chemistry, B.Sc in Botany, B.Sc in Mathematics, and B.Sc in Information Technology. AISECT University B.Sc admission is based on AJEE or accepts a non-zero scorecard for CUET. The average fee for B.Sc is approximately Rs 13000 approximately and the annual fee is Rs 8,000- Rs 40,000. The fee varies as per the specialisation of the programme.

For the other two scholarships, the candidate must have secured more than 85% marks in their Class 12 and be GATE qualified, respectively.

AISECT University offers UGC recognised MBA programme of 2 years. For MBA admission, the candidate must be graduated in any stream with 45% marks for the general category and 40% for OBC/SC/ST. Candidate must appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university, i.e. AJEE. In case, the the candidate has a non-zero MAT/CAT scorecard, they can be exempted from the AISECT Join Entrance Exam (AJEE).
