The last date to apply for GATE 2026 for M.Tech and research program admissions has been extended to October 13, 2025, with the applicable late fee. The examination will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, and will be conducted in two sessions daily.

Once the scores of the candidate are available, the admission advisory board will set up a merit list depending on that and call the eligible candidates for Studio Test (if required) and Personal Interview (PI). When the candidate clears the PI process, the candidate becomes eligible to apply for their chosen course.
