Submit your applications through the SAMS Odisha portal by paying an application fee of approximately INR 500 for General candidates and INR 300 for SC/ ST candidates. To become eligible to apply for MSc Zoology at Berhampur University, you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science (B.Sc.) with Zoology as an Honours or Core subject with at least 50% aggregate marks (if you belong to the General category) and 45% aggregate marks (if you belong to the SC/ ST category). However, the admission to this programme is entirely merit-based and you must clear the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) conducted by SAMS Odisha (which has 70% weightage in the final selection).

The core subjects for the MSc Zoology programme encompass advanced topics such as Genetics, Evolution, Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology, Animal Physiology, and Immunology.
