Bhavan’s Vivekananda College popularly termed Bhavan's is established in a green 10 acre campus.There are a number of trees and the greenery around ensures a pleasant atmosphere for the students and staff.The 1,00,000 sqft of built-up area is in four blocks – the Commerce Block, the IT block, the Science block and the latest being the Department of Management studies.There is adequate parking space for both staff and students.There are well furnished classrooms in these blocks that house all the classes comfortably.There are well equipped laboratories for all the science subjects.All the equipment and consumables necessary for the practical classes are available. College have a large number of computers which are connected through the local intranet. In addition, college have a leased line that offers internet accessibility to staff and students.

The purpose of having this club is:

1. To have better inter- departmental interaction for both students and staff.
2. To conduct activities like paper presentation, poster presentation, quiz, fun games, Brain quest, etc.
3. To encourage their analytical skills and to stimulate their thinking and develop confidence.
4. To make the students more creative.
5. To try and remove the inhibition that some of the students may have.

 greEnergy was initiated in the year 2005 to create awareness among students about the importance of a clean and green environment. Recycling of waste paper,Tree plantation, Wall Illustrations, Poster Presentations, Vermi-composting, pollution check and promotion of green Ganeshas are some of the activities undertaken.

It conducts- Quiz programs, debates, discussion of current discoveries in the field of life sciences, noble laureates and their contributions.

It is a completely student driven club, the main purpose of which is to give the students an opportunity to showcase their talent and lose their inhibitions so as to be prepared to face the outside world.

Abhyas means “Practice” and as we all know Practice makes a man perfect, Abhyas club endeavors at making every individual perfect in his/her interests through practice.

The main objective of the club is to share varied interests and collective knowledge and passion andto keep all members updated about the latest happenings and news in the field of Space and Astronomy. Students actively participate in group discussions and debates and star parties which aim to widen their knowledge about the field. Although the club is mainly for students for whom Astronomy is a hobby, it also encourages any interest shown by students to take it up as a career option; also to gain a personal appreciation of the beauty of the universe through actual physical observation of the sky.

The club has also opened its own Facebook page where members can interact with each other, sharing articles from around the web, planning meetings of the club and discussing topics that interest them.

Commerce Club was established in the year 2001-02. Its aim is to enhancing the overall development of students. Every year the club conducts various activities as Mr & Ms VOICE, Business Quiz, Situation Analysis, JAM, Turncoat, Commerce word building, Poster presentation, Micro Presentation, Ad Marksmen etc. where the students participated enthusiastically. The department also has a wall journal titled BEACON- The inspiring thoughts.
