Infrastructure

This College has all the required amenities and infrastructure for the students. The College has sufficient classrooms, library having the required text books and reference books, e-library facility, Computer Lab. for students, Ladies Common Room, Audio-Visual Hall, Conference Rooms, toilets etc.

College also provides facility to the students like canteen, health-care facility, clean drinking water and hostel for the students who require the same.

The College also provides facilities like toilet, lift and ramp for physically handicapped students.

The infrastructure of the college is as per the norms of the UGC.

SCAC Entrepreneurship Development Cell

SCAC Entrepreneurship Development Cell endeavors to encourage and guide students to start their own business enterprise. It is a platform for the students to showcase and enhance their intrapreneurial and entrepreneurial skills. EDC a very vibrant association , where in regular exposure is given to the students through initiatives such as :

Interactions with entrepreneurs

Visits to business units – e.g enterprises in Dharavi – Asia’s biggest slum; Malas food processing factory etc

Seminars – Innovations in Business, Agri Tourism

Workshop – Creativity, Start up Lab

Spandan- An Intercollegiate Social Entrepreneurship fest

English Literary Association

Objectives:

 

  • To introduce them to great books that have stood the test of time and let them feel the pulse of life through the works of great authors
  • Help them understand literary works through interaction with experts in the field.
  • To develop skills in self-expressions, analytical abilities and critical appreciation.
  • Increase awareness about environmental issues.

Objectives:

 

  • Faced with the growing influence and relevance of the mass media, the Film Club is committed to culturally empowering students to understand, appreciate, and critically evaluate Cinema.
  • An exposure to world Cinema from diverse cultural, political and aesthetic positions will not only enhance the students’ understanding of the medium and the various issues explored by film makers but it will also counter the numbing effect of popular entertainment.
  • To this effect, students will be exposed to films made in a variety of genres by critically acclaimed filmmakers.
