Centre for Design Studies (CDS) at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology is now accepting applications for the Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) programme for the 2026–27 session. You can apply online at admissions.aurogroup.ac.
CDS offers a 4-year full-time B.Des. programme with four specialisations such as Communication Design (CD), Experiential Graphic Design (EGD), User Experience Design (UX), and Motion Arts & Gaming (MAG). Centre for Design Studies admission is merit-based through DTE Madhya Pradesh counselling, and the college also considers UCEED scores for selection.

Centre for Design Studies Eligibility Criteria for Admission 2026
To apply for the B.Des. program at the Centre for Design Studies, candidates need to meet certain eligibility requirements. These eligibility criteria for all four specialisations is same. Your eligibility will be checked first during DTE MP counselling and then again at the institute when you submit your documents after your seat is allotted.

How to Apply for Centre for Design Studies Admission 2026?
To apply for B.Des. admission at the Centre for Design Studies in 2026, candidates must complete two steps: register on the SAIT admissions portal and apply through DTE MP counselling. Both steps are required. The SAIT portal enables the institute to contact applicants directly, while registration through the DTE MP portal is mandatory for seat allotment.
Applying to the SAIT Portal
- Go to admissions.aurogroup.ac/application-form.
- Fill in your name, contact details, class 12 marks, category, and preferred B.Des. specialisation.
- Submit the form. There is no application fee charged by SAIT.
- Save the acknowledgement number/confirmation sent to your email or phone.
Registering for DTE MP Counselling
- Visit dte.mponline.gov.in when the 2026 B.Des. counselling window opens.
- Register using your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and email.
- Fill in your academic details and upload documents.
- Pay the DTE MP counselling registration fee (as per the official 2026 notification).
- Complete choice filling — add Centre for Design Studies and preferred specialisations.
- Lock your choices before the deadline.
- Download the provisional allotment letter after the merit list is published.
- Report to SAIT within the reporting deadline with original documents.
