Important Instructions to be Followed after UCEED Round 1 Seat Allotment 2026
Now that you have made it to allotment after qualifying UCEED 2026 , you will have to proceed with the process further so that your admission can be finalized. Below mentioned are the important instructions that you have to follow after UCEED round 1 seat allotment :-
During the seat allotment process, you will be given two options: either to freeze the seat or to float. Freezing here refers to accepting and stopping, while floating means accepting with upward movement.
Choose FREEZE only when you are satisfied with the institute allotted to you. After you choose this option, you won’t be considered for the subsequent rounds.
Regarding FLOAT, choose this if you accept the current seat but wish to be considered for another institute higher on your preference list in round 2 or round 3. Note that if you are offered a higher preference in later rounds, then your round 1 seat will automatically be forfeited.
Whether you choose Freeze or Float, you will have to pay the seat acceptance fee by the deadline. If you are selected and don’t remit the acceptance fee by the due date or decline the admission, your application will be cancelled.
If you fail to pay your fee, you will not be considered for any further seat allotment rounds. Following this, these vacant seats will be offered to the other eligible students to be filled during the other rounds.
