Inauguration of Fishing Technology Exhibition Hall & Smart Classroom - On October 8, 2025, Sh. George Kurian, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, inaugurated the Fishing Technology Exhibition Hall and Smart Classroom at the Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training (CIFNET) in Kochi. This facility aims to enhance the training and education of students in the field of fisheries and marine engineering, providing them with modern resources and technology to support their learning and development.
