Candidates for the 18-month hospitality diploma at the CII Institute of Hospitality must have completed their 10+2 requirements from a recognised board or an equivalent. After receiving this diploma, one can begin working as a hotel manager, restaurant manager, chef, conference centre manager, event manager, manager of a fast food restaurant, hotel manager, or manager of a public house, depending on his or her interests.
