Sharda School of Humanities and Social Sciences and Dean Student welfare jointly organised an event on the occassion of International Yoga Day at the campus. The event featured a series of yoga sessions suitable for all levels, led by certified yoga instructors. With a variety of yoga styles to choose from, including Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin, there was something for everyone. All participants got a holistic experience from the sessions, which emphasised physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation.
The celebration began with a welcome address by YK Gupta, Pro Chancellor, Sharda University, who emphasised the importance of yoga in fostering physical and mental health. Dr. Bhuvnesh Kumar, Dean Research; Dr. Ajit Kumar, Director PR; Dr. Pramod Kumar, Dr. Kapil Dave, and many others were also present at the event.

Sharda University launched the Bharatiya Sanskriti Vaishvik Kendra on April 12, 2024, aiming to create a global platform for Indian knowledge and address key national issues. The centre, inaugurated by notable figures including retired IAS Deepak Singhal and Padma Bhushan Prof. Kapil Kapoor, will promote and protect Indian culture. Prof. Kapoor emphasised the importance of teaching in one's own language and preserving heritage. Sharda University recently hosted a two-day cultural fest, "Sangam Ullas", attracting participants from over 95 countries. The event showcased a variety of competitions, including dance, music, fashion, drama, sports, and photography. The highlight was a performance by MC SQUARE and DJ Suitup. The festival, which was attended by faculty members and students of Sharda University, featured over 20 events, ranging from debates to fashion shows, comedy performances to rap wars. Chancellor PK Gupta stated that the event fostered a sense of inclusivity and appreciation for cultural diversity. The fest also featured a "March" by international students, representing their national heritage.
