Mount Carmel College (MCC) is an autonomous college in Bangalore. MCC Bangalore is affiliated with Bangalore City University. It is one of the earliest colleges for women, founded in 1944. MCC Bangalore was earlier known as “Carmel College” under Madras University and was shifted to Bengaluru in 1948. It is run by the sisters of Carmelite Sisters of St. Teresa CSST who are dedicated to empowering women and society.

Mount Carmel College has one hostel for girls named Mother Mary Memorial hostel. MCC Bangalore girls hostel is safe, spacious, and inside the campus. The rooms are on double and triple sharing.
