At LPU, the admissions and registration process must be completed by the end of July. The session typically begins in either the last week of July or the first week of August. During the first week of the session, there is a Freshmen Induction program. The timing of this program may vary depending on the program of study chosen by the student, as different courses have different schedules for induction classes. However, as a general assumption, classes are expected to start in the middle of July. The purpose of the induction program is to familiarize students with the university's culture, expectations, and functioning. During the freshmen induction, there is an interactive session between senior and junior students of the respective departments.
