Dhirajlal Gandhi College of Technology Omalur offers admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programmes via the TNEA and TANCA centralized counselling/admission processes. For B.E/B.Tech admission, the institute participates in the TNEA centralized counselling process conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Tamil Nadu. Candidates are enlisted in a merit list prepared by the TNEA officials based on their previous qualifying exam scores and allocated seats based on their merit ranks/positions. Similarly, for M.E admission, Dhirajlal Gandhi College of Technology participates in the TANCA counselling process conducted by Anna University, Chennai. For PG admission at Dhirajlal Gandhi College of Technology, the candidates must have a valid score in either TANCET or GATE exam.
