The FDDI Kolkata admissions are done through a centralised counselling process in which all the campus admissions are conducted. Students have to appear for the All India Selection Test or AIST 2024. The admission will be made on the basis of merit drawn and the counselling.
After the AIST 2024 exam has been conducted, the merit list will be released with the ranks. The admissions will be done on the basis of merit only and the seats will be allotted based on the ranks. If there is an excess of seat students will be notified for counselling at FDDI Kolkata.
A student who is allotted a seat is required to pay a fee of Rs 25,000 at the time of counselling to reserve/secure their seats. Out of Rs 25,000, Rs 10,000 is non-refundable (registration fees) and Rs 15,000 is the advance fee. Students have to submit the admission fees within 10 days of seat allotment.
A student having a valid score card of any national level entrance examination is allowed for the FDDI Kolkata admission process. The criteria for the score of the national level entrance exam again FDDI AIST rank is as follows.
The aggregate percentile of any national-level entrance examination score may be equated at par with the FDDI percentile. Marks corresponding to the nearest percentile of the candidate who appeared in the FDDI AIST may be allotted and the candidate having score/percentage/percentile in entrance examinations may be positioned just below such candidate.
Students who have a national-level entrance examination scorecard need not apply for AIST 2024, but if the student has appeared and qualified for both the examination then the AIST score will be considered for admission.

If a student is applying through UCEED 2024, they will have to register for the UCEED 2024 exam on uceed.iitb.ac.in.
FDDI Application Form Fees
FDDI application fees are Rs 600 for General/OBC (Non-Creamy)/GEN-EWS and Rs 300 for SC/ ST/ PWD categories. Students can pay the fees by online payment methods such as UPI, gpay, paytm, debit/credit card, and net banking.

Note: A candidate who has appeared for any examination under clause (A), and whose result has not been declared at the time of admission, shall be eligible to apply for admission to the Bachelor’s Programmes and such candidate, if selected, shall be granted provisional admission and shall be required to submit the result of the requisite examination on or before September 30, 2024, to the Admission In Charge where the admission has been granted, failing which the candidate’s admission may be cancelled and entire fee will be forfeited. Such candidates have to produce proof of having appeared for the examination during the Counseling process of the FDDI Kolkata programme.
The age limit for the Bachelor’s programme shall be 25 years as on July 1, 2024
