I have aggregated all the good reasons for coming to Galgotias College in the answer below- Others reasons are because of its diversity of crowd which come from the top schools and from various cities because of its brilliant location. It has got a decent library and cafeteria space. The classes of CSE/IT are exceptionally well and have AC in them. The college hostel (boys) is not up to the mark so better choose any outside hostel. But having said that nothing can beat the college hosteler life. It is simply the best experience you could ever get. It is a ragging free campus and whosoever break the rules have to face fatal consequences. Rest all the things you will find in the answer below

Overall: Gcet is a good college, education wise it's pretty great, I'm club head so societys and clubs are available for all domains like dancing, music, speakers poets etc

Placement: Currently market is going thru a low phase, but generally placement is okay in gcet, many companies come, recently autodesk came and took 4 students at 39 L package

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is goood, the labs are in good condition, the size of grounds is pretty big, volleyball football and cricket, basketball all sports are played.

Faculty: Faculty is pretty experienced with majority of them being Phd holders, and labs are of utmost quality and will help you if you ask for help, varieties of faculty is found.

Hostel: Hostel life is pretty fine in gcet , and girls hostel especially is of premium conditions, however fees is quite a bit in girls hostel, comparatively boys hostel is a little conjusted.

Overall: Most of us don't get admission in top IIT's doesn't mean we can't get a good engineering college. That's where Galgotias college of engineering and technology comes in. I wouldn't say it's the best but it's actually modest. I like it here. Along with academics they offer a wide range of co-curriculars that you can definitely explore if you're looking for some fun along with a good degree that it just might be the perfect fit for you.

Placement: The average package is around 4-5 Lacs. But if you've got the skills you'll definitely make it to the top. The company's that visit are mostly mass recruiters but some good ones visit as well and if you want to crack those interviews you gotta have good grades and even better skills. Company's like AutoDesk have actually taken upto 4 students with a package of 39 Lacs. So if you put in the hard work you might just make it to the other side.

Infrastructure: I wouldn't say the infrastructure is very good but it satisfactory or you can say just enough! Not more not less. For the fresher's they don't offer AC's in the classroom but rest assured the good days are on their way i.e. 2nd year students and above mostly have Fully AC classrooms. They have a really good library which opens from 9 to 9 during exam season and 9 to 7 during normal days.

Faculty: The professor are all well educated that being said most of them have PhD's but I wouldn't say they are all good teachers. They do have the knowledge I think but some aren't just so good at sharing them. But rest assured that's not the case with all the professors you'll definitely meet some excellent ones as well.

Hostel: Actually the hostels are better than you might have expected. But you're not allowed to be in the hostel for no reason if you have an ongoing class but that being said you can still stay if you're not a fresher. The food is mildly good or shall I say good enough to just not be so bad that you can't eat it. The warden is strict as in every other college hostel but rooms are real nice.

Curriculum is good but syllabus is kind of old according to current requirement of industry. Placements are decent. You've to work hard to achieve a above average package.

Placement: Placements are good in our college. On an average 5-6 lpa. And for an extra ordinary package like above 10lpa you've to work hard on your skills like DSA and core subject knowledge.
