Government Degree College, Jammu, is releasing the various merit lists for the 2023-24 session for the UG and PG courses. The merit lists are being released under 2 broad categories, one is for the CUET candidates and the other is for the Non-CUET applicants. The college grants admissions to students who belong to the following categories:

Permanent residents of J&K

Wards of Army Personnel and Central Govt. Employees

Children of Non-permanent residents of J&K (provided they pass class 12 exam from a state school of J&K).

Further, for Government Degree College Jammu admissions in 2023, the college is adopting the Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) model for the B.Sc, BA, and, Bachelor of Social Sciences courses. 

Following documents are required for admission in Government Degree College Jammu:

1. Print out of goggle form as filled by student
2. Original provisional cum character certificate
3. Passing certificate (for UG courses)
4. Class 10 certificate
5. Class 12 marksheet
6. Graudation marksheet (if applicable)
7. Two recent photgraphs
8. Caste certificate (if applicable)
9. Photocopy of bank account passbook
