As per the notification released on August 17, 2023, concerning the first open physical counselling, the PG-I session 2023-24 for new admission at Government College Hisar will begin on August 21, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the college campus. The last date for fee deposit, physical counselling and document verification is also August 21, 2023. Hence, you must visit the campus to complete the admission process before the deadline.

The total student seat intake of M.Sc Mathematics course at Government College Hisar is 60. To get admission in the M.Sc Mathematics course, you have to ensure that you have completed your graduation in the same specialisation. Since the seat intake of the courses is limited, the authorities offer admission on a merit basis and for some courses, on the basis of entrance examination results. Hence, you must check the complete eligibility criteria for your desired course before applying.

The first Physical open Counselling was held on July 26, 2023, for admission to Government College Hisar. You will be able to find the merit list on the college’s official website (gchisar.edu.in). On the official website, you have to go to the ‘Notice’ section, from where you will then be able to view the merit list for UG admission.

Government College, located in Hisar, Haryana offers a three-year-long B.Sc programme. It is offered under six specialisations namely, Medical (160 - intake), Bio-Technology (40 - intake), Non-Medical (240 - intake), Computer Science (80 - intake), Computer Application (50 - intake) and Mathematics Honours (50 - intake). The fee structure of GC Hisar for B.Sc is Rs 6,400.

Yes, a student from a different college will be able to participate in the open counselling for admission at Government College Hisar. Open counselling is done as per affiliating University/ State Government norms. The students whose admission is confirmed have to submit their original migration certificate to the college within 10 days of admission. Admission is ensured if they have passed the qualifying examination from any Board other than the Board of School Education Haryana.
