Govt. College - GC

Govt. College Israna (Panipat) is situated on Israna-Pardhana Road and was started in July 1999 with the efforts of the people of the area. It is aided and permanently affiliated to Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra and accredited by NAAC C++ Grade. Construction of college building was done by Panchayati Raj institution. The college has approximately 36 an acre of land out of which 6 Acres has been transferred for Village Stadium. This college is situated in the rural area. The college has Arts and Commerce faculties and presently 826 students are enrolled. In Arts faculty, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, History, Physical Education, Geography, Political Science, Economic and Mathematics are taught in the college. There are about 60 villages in the radius of 10 Kilometers. Recently the college has been recognized under Section 2 (f) & 12 (B) of the UGC Act. 1956. The modern teaching methodology assists the students in getting an all around view of engineering, technology and the entrepreneur world. The diligent faculty team of the college possesses hands-on experience and up to date knowledge of their subject and area of expertise. The infrastructure and facilities of GC consists of spread-out campus alongside various amenities in the form of library, computer center, classrooms with proper teaching and learning aids, medical facilities etc. The institute seeks to place each of its students in an organization/company of great repute.
