So, the University extends Scholarship Scheme which is an initiative by the University to cultivate the talent of students that may be hidden due to financial constraints. At LPU the fee is as per the calibre of the student. It varies with the student's score and achievements in the previous academic record as well as their performance in LPUNEST. The fee is different for every course, so you can check the exact tuition fee for the course you are interested in at the lpu website. At LPU scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance in the eligibility qualification: (for example, on the basis of performance in10+2 for undergraduate programmes and graduation for PG Programmes), scholarship on the basis of qualification previous to eligibility qualification (this scholarship is applicable for after graduation programmes),, LPUNEST score, certain national level tests (like JEE (Mains), NEET, UCEED, CAT, MAT, GATE, GPAT, MAT etc.), scholarship based on Innovation, Startup & Entrepreneurship, performance in sports, cultural, R&D, co-curricular, social service and bravery awards, for toppers of centre and state boards. Apart from the scholarship schemes, LPU also offers financial aid to the students belonging to underprivileged students like orphans, persons with disability etc. or some specific groups like Wards of Defence personnel etc. LPU has a fully online application to admission process. The candidate is required to complete some basic formalities (register online, upload documents, pay a minimum amount of fee, clear entrance test/interview if applicable) to confirm the seat in any programme subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria. An eight-digit provisional registration number will be generated and will be shared on registered mobile number and email-id of the candidate, indicating the confirmation of seat. One can also visit the University campus on any working day from 9 am to 5 pm to complete the admission process. There are certain eligibility criteria that a student is required to meet to take admission to any of the course at LPU. As per the eligibility criteria for different courses the marks required in qualifying exam varies from 50% to 60% depending on the course. The candidate needs to qualify LPUNEST to get admission to courses like B.Tech., BSc. Hons, B.Pharm, etc.. For some courses like BA, B.Comm, BBA etc LPUNEST is not mandatory.
