October 13, 2025The registration for JEE Main 2026 is expected to begin on October 15, 2025, at jeemain.nta.nic.in and will remain open until November 2025. The Session 1 of the JEE Main 2026 exam is scheduled for January 2026, while Session 2 will take place in April 2026
October 10, 2025The last date to apply for GATE 2026 for M.Tech and research program admissions has been extended to October 13, 2025, with the applicable late fee. The examination will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, and will be conducted in two sessions daily.
October 06, 2025The UCEED 2026 registration is now live at uceed.iitb.ac.in for admission to B.Des programs in Design. Candidates can apply without a late fee until October 31, 2025, and with a late fee until November 18, 2025. The UCEED 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on January 18, 2026.
About IIITDM Kancheepuram
Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Kancheepuram. It is a public institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, with campuses in Kancheepuram and Jabalpur. IIITDM focuses on design and manufacturing oriented engineering education and research.
IIITDM Kancheepuram admission 2025 are still ongoing. IIITDM Kancheepuram was established in 2007. The college has signed MOUs with NASSCOM CoE DSAI & IoT, IIT Madras and National University of Science and Technology (NUST), MISiS, Moscow, Russia to provide some additional knowledge to the students. IIITDM Kancheepuram courses are offered at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in engineering, technology and design. All the programmes are available in multiple branches. The curriculum of all the IIITDM Kancheepuram courses is updated with industry 4.0 standards in mind and is equipped with a three-month summer internship programme followed by a 6-month industry project.
The 51-acre campus of the IIIT Kanchipuram is situated at Vandalur-Kelambakkam Road, Chennai. The IIITDM Kancheepuram campus is equipped with many facilities such as an auditorium, hostel and modern classrooms. The campus has a Teaching Learning Centre (TLC) established for providing Design and Manufacturing Education. The centre is funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) under the Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya National Mission. Many clubs such as Quiz Club, Robotics Club, IDC Club, Dance Club, Language Lab, Ingenium Club and Electronics Club are also available on the campus of IIIT Kanchipuram. As per the NIRF Ranking 2022, IIITDM Kancheepuram has secured the 184th rank under the engineering category with a score of 34.93.
IIITDM secured a rank of 80 in the NIRF ranking of 2024. Overall placement rate of IIITDM was 73% with 190 job offers made to 260 students. The highest package was 32 LPA, and the average package for dual degree students was13.98 LPA. The top recruiters included Zoho, Virtusa, Google, Paypal, and Samsung.
