The Indus International University placement cell organises a set of series to make students prepare for the corporate world. The placement cell is actively working to enhance students’ experience through pre-placement discussions, workshops, oral and written examinations, interviews and alumni sessions. The IIU placement process for campus recruitment includes five steps namely:
- Pre-placement presentation
- Qualification scrutinising
- Written examination
- Group discussion
- Interview.

The university has successfully conducted 4 mega placement drives including Grammy electronics, HP, Apply4study and Bajaj capital. The IIU maximum package offered was Rs 5.7 LPA.

ReportPlacement: The university does a great job of bringing in well-known companies from various fields like IT, engineering, management, healthcare, and law, so students from all different areas have a fair shot at landing a job
ReportPlacement: In terms of placement, the university maintains decent records, especially in IT, management, and core engineering domains, with top recruiters like TCS, Cognizant, and Wipro visiting the campus.
ReportPlacement: Personally, I feel the average placement package (Rs 2.4 LPA) and the highest package of 2023 (Rs 5.7 LPA) is low, especially compared to the fees. Also, the visiting companies like Tracer, Sukhjit Starch and Chemicals Limited,, Bajaj Capital, Grammy, and Fine Switches are primarily mid-sized or smaller firms.
ReportPlacement: BBA course students were well-trained and performed well in the campus placements. Top companies like ITC Hotel, Taj Hotels, TCS, Wipro, etc visit our university campus for placements. I was placed in TCS with a package of Rs 3.45 LPA.
ReportPlacement: I was unsure if I would get a job or not as I had not done any internship. But thanks to the soft skill training provided by the IIU Una placement cell I did quite well in the interview. I got a package of Rs 2.90 LPA during the campus placement.
ReportPlacement: I am a bit sceptical about the placement statistics. The average package is very low at Rs 2.4 LPA compared to the fees charged. The highest package received in 2023 was Rs 5.7 LPA. Moreover, the recruiters who visited the campus were medium-valued and low-valued companies like Bajaj Capital, Grammy, Fine Switches, Sukhjit Starch and Chemicals Ltd, Tracer, etc.
