Overall: I’m really happy with my decision to pursue a B.Sc. in Interior Design at INSD Kandivali. The faculty is highly experienced and very supportive, always encouraging creative ideas and giving individual attention. We got a lot of hands-on experience through live projects, workshops, and industry visits. The college provides exposure to design software and helps us build a strong portfolio. The environment is creative, friendly, and very motivating. INSD Kandivali has helped me grow both professionally and personally. I would definitely recommend this college to anyone serious about a career in interior design!

Placement: INSD Kandivali offers very helpful placement support to students. They regularly conduct seminars, portfolio building sessions, and industry guest lectures to prepare us for the professional world. The college connects students with design studios, firms, and companies for internships and jobs. Many students get placed in good firms based on their skills and final portfolio. The placement cell is active and helps students in resume creation, mock interviews, and interview preparation. Although the final result depends on the student's dedication, the guidance and support provided by the institute is commendable. The college focuses not only on academics but also on helping students build real-world skills. It's a great place to start a career in interior design.

Infrastructure: INSD Kandivali offers a highly creative and modern learning environment for design students. The classrooms are spacious, clean, and filled with natural light, which enhances the creative mindset. The labs are equipped with the latest design tools, including drawing boards, digital tablets, 3D modeling equipment, and industry-standard software. Wi-Fi connectivity is strong across the campus, allowing students to work on digital projects with ease. The studios are designed like real design workplaces, helping us gain practical experience. Cleanliness and safety are top priorities, and the overall ambiance is very student-friendly and motivating. The environment fosters both creativity and discipline. Students get a real taste of the professional design world right from the classroom. It’s a perfect place for anyone passionate about interior or fashion design to grow and succeed.

Faculty truly care about each student’s growth and success.

Hostel: INSD Kandivali does not have its own hostel on campus, but they provide excellent support in helping students find safe and comfortable PG accommodations nearby. The PG options are located within walking distance or just a short commute from the campus, making daily travel easy and convenient. The rooms are well-maintained, spacious, and furnished with essentials like beds, wardrobes, study tables, and Wi-Fi. Hygiene and cleanliness are regularly maintained, and most PGs offer home-style food, laundry services, and security. The environment is peaceful and ideal for students who need a calm space after classes. What’s great is that the college staff helps you connect with verified PGs, so the process is smooth and safe. Many of my classmates, including myself, are living in these PGs and having a very comfortable experience. It’s a great option for outstation students looking to study in Mumbai with complete peace of mind.
