One unique feature of the selection process is the Micro Presentation, which replaces the traditional Group Discussion (GD) commonly used by many business schools.
| Stage | Details |
|---|---|
| Step 1: Online Application | Apply at apply.isbr.in with personal, academic, and entrance exam details. Pay INR 1,000 application fee. |
| Step 2: Score Submission / ISBR Test | Submit CAT / XAT / MAT / NMAT / CMAT / ATMA / KMAT / PGCET scorecard, OR appear for the ISBR Aptitude Test online. |
| Step 3: Shortlisting | ISBR shortlists candidates based on the entrance exam score. No minimum CAT cutoff is published — the actual threshold varies by round. |
| Step 4: Micro Presentation | Shortlisted students present a 2–5 minute micro-presentation on a given topic. Assessed on communication, clarity, and confidence. |
| Step 5: Personal Interview (PI) | Face-to-face or virtual PI with faculty and industry panel. Covers academics, work experience, goals, and current affairs. |
| Step 6: Offer Letter + Seat Confirmation | Selection results will be declared within 3–5 working days of the PI. Offer letter issued. Pay the first fee instalment within 7–10 days to confirm the seat. |
