The Training and Placement Cell of Jharkhand Rai University is known as the Career Management Cell. It is a wing of the University that handles all career and placement related issues. The T&P Cell works to facilitate better job opportunities for the students of JRU and give them the platform to launch their careers. With a strong network of recruiters and a reliable relationship with industry experts, the Career Management Cell works to give direction and provide assistance while the students navigate through their career paths. The success of the T&P Cell is also evident through the numerous successfully placed students, as p0-  well as a list of recruiters and companies that have visited the campus in the past. 

The placement cell of Jharkhand Rai University ensures that the students get an all-round development and grooming before their placement interviews. With various activities like career counselling, mock tests and interviews, seminars, interactive sessions, workshops, internships, job fairs and recruitments drive- they work round the clock to provide the students with myriad opportunities.

The main objective of the T&P Cell is to formulate student-centric placement drives and provide adequate training to the students to perform their very best during interviews.

There are certain guidelines laid out for students by the T&P Cell at JRU. The guidelines are to be followed by the students who wish to be assisted for placements. 

Students are required to appear for each and every activity organized by the T&P cell at JRU. The activities may include some or all of –

  • PD training/Preparatory Class
  • Seminars, workshops, lectures
  • Industrial Visits
  • Assessment tests/ pre-placement talk
  • Mock test/ mock interviews

Students must keep the T&P cell updated (in writing) regarding the following details- 

  • CV, marks, grades, results etc.
  • Contact details 
  • Any required information 
  • A 100% attendance is mandatory for the activities mentioned in section 1 and more than a 75% attendance in regular classes as well as skill development classes. Failing the above will result in being debarred from any further help by the T&P cell for the entire placement process.
