J.K. Institute of Applied Physics and Technology Allahabad has started admission for the academic year 2024. The result of JEE Main 2024 session 2 has been declared by the NTA. JoSAA counselling 2024 registration will begin in June for BTech admissions. 

JK Institute of Applied Physics and Technology courses include different specialisations at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate levels. Jawahar Lal Nehru laid the institute's foundation on April 14, 1949, and the JK Charitable Trust took care of developing the infrastructure and its management. 

The institute has established itself as a pioneering institution in India for the study of Electronics & Communication along with Computer Science. The institute began offering postgraduate programmes in 1986. The institute is a leader in undertaking major research and teaching initiatives for the past 60 years. JK Institute of Applied Physics and Technology courses include B.Tech (CSE), B.Tech (ECE), B.Sc in Computer Science, M.Tech (ECE), M.Tech (CSE), M.Sc in Computer Science and several specialisations in the doctoral programmes (PhD). The first Computer Science undergraduate course was offered in 1982, while the first Computer Science graduate course was offered in 1986. For example, the B.Tech fee for general category candidates is Rs 40,000 in comparison to the SC/ST students, who have to pay Rs 24,000 tuition fees for the B.Tech programme. Library: One of the largest in the area, the university library has over 10,000 books and journals to offer all possible books to students.

Auditorium: Numerous technical and non-technical activities are held in the auditorium throughout the year. It can seat approximately 200 people.

Computer Lab: The computer lab is well-equipped with more than 100 top-of-the-line computers connected to high-speed internet.

Electronic Lab: The department's eight or more separate labs are used to study the various ECE subjects.

Ground: Events like SWAT CUP, Techno Cup, and Avirbhav competitions are held on both a football pitch and a cricket pitch of the ground. The institute makes sure students achieve academic as well as physical wellness.
