The GATE 2026 Admit Card for Computer Science & IT will be available on January 2, 2026 at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The CS exam is scheduled for February 8, 2026, and will be held in two sessions: CS1 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and CS2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
The GATE 2026 schedule for all 30 papers is now out. The exams will take place on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. CS and CE will be conducted in two shifts, while the remaining papers will have a single shift. Admit cards will be released on January 2, 2026.
The GATE 2026 mock tests for all subjects are now available on gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The examination is scheduled for February 7, 8, 14, and 15, while the admit cards will be issued on January 2, 2026.

KIT B.Tech Admission
Candidates satisfying the following eligibility rules as on last date of submission of application are eligible to apply. Passing the qualifying examination or changing the religion etc. after this date shall not be considered.
- Tamil Nadu Native candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. including Diploma in Tamil Nadu, need not enclose the “Nativity Certificate”.
- Candidates who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent Examination from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu, should enclose a copy of the “Nativity Certificate” (vide certificate No. I) with the application for considering them as candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu.
