Kalvium admission 2026 is open for its work-integrated B.Tech CSE programme across 10 partner universities pan-India. Students do not need JEE scores and there is no management quota. Admission is based entirely on the Kalvium National Entrance Test (KNET).
KNET is Kalvium's own entrance test, designed to assess how a candidate thinks and learns - not to test board syllabus knowledge. It is taken online in two parts: a psychometric assessment that evaluates behavioural traits like ownership, adaptability, and growth mindset (90 minutes), and an aptitude test that measures logical reasoning, quantitative problem-solving, and critical thinking (90 minutes). Students who qualify are called for an in-person interview at a Kalvium centre near them.
KNET 2026 runs across multiple phases. Phase 2 closes on 3rd May, followed by Phase 3 (4th-14th May), Phase 4 (15th-28th May), Phase 5 (29th May-11th June), and Phase 6 (12th-25th June).
The B.Tech CSE degree is awarded by the chosen partner university, recognised by UGC and AICTE. Annual fees range from Rs. 75,000 to Rs. 4,60,000 depending on the partner university.
To apply for Kalvium Coimbatore B.Tech CSE admission 2026, candidates must pass Class 12 or hold a Diploma. After that, they need to qualify in the Kalvium National Entrance Test (KNET). JEE Main scores are not required for admission.

It also does not follow the JEE exam pattern or the school syllabus.
Mock tests are available for all registered KNET candidates on the admissions portal. Students can use these mock tests to understand the exam format and practice before the actual test. The KNET exam can only be taken on a PC or laptop and is not supported on mobile devices. If a student does not have a working webcam, they can use the DroidCam app to convert their mobile phone into a webcam.

Hey there!
For admissions at Kalvium, you have to qualify for The KQ assessment. It tests your numeracy, logic, and problem-solving skills. Although our program includes essential maths like discrete mathematics for software engineering, don't stress if you didn't take it in 12th. Being a great Software Engineer depends on factors beyond your maths and science scores in school. We welcome students from commerce and bio backgrounds. So firstly qualify with KQ, then explore eligible campuses!
