KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, Belgaum (KLS GIT) is a flagship institute of Karnataka Law Society, Belgaum. Established in 1979, KLS GIT is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), under the UGC act of 1956 and accreditation from NBA (National Board of Accreditation), New Delhi. The institute is permanently affiliated and autonomous institution under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, awarded with “A” grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). 

KLS GIT offers four years full-time B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) course in 8 and two years full-time M.Tech (Master of Technology) course in 9 different specializations including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, Digital Communication and Network, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Machine Design, Automotive Electronics and Industrial Engineering. It also offers full-time MBA and MCA programme.

The institute has more than 250 highly qualified and a well-experienced faculty member from leading institute including IIT and IIM.

GIT campus is spread over in 23 acres of land with world-class infrastructure. All the facilities are available on the campus including the library, computer lab, hostel, sports, auditorium and canteen.
