The Kurukshetra Institute of Technology and Management (KITM), offers various programmes such as M.Tech, B.Tech, BBA, MBA. KITM is recognized by AICTE, New Delhi and Department of Technical Education (DTE) and established by the well known Shanti Devi Educational Trust (SDET), Haryana. KITM is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.  KITM is the select channel partner for IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur to provide with its web-based distance learning programmes.

The KITM embraces numerous active and advanced research programmes such as NPMASS, a nationwide project and also conceived MEMS-based sensors for ISRO, IGCAR and DRDO. The Kurukshetra based institute has a campus that is spread over 20 acres.
