KUK PhD Eligibility Criteria

To enroll in a Ph.D. program at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, candidates must hold a Master’s degree or M.Phil. with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a relevant subject from a recognized university. A relaxation of 5% in marks is available for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) and differently-abled candidates. Eligibility also includes qualifying a written entrance test conducted by the university, designed to assess the candidate's knowledge in their chosen field of study. Those with valid UGC/CSIR-NET (including JRF)/NET/SLET/GATE scores are exempt from the entrance test but must still appear for an interview to evaluate their research proposal and suitability for the doctoral program.
