Overall Talking abouth the civil engineering department the professors are nice mostly.In all the specializations the professors are good but i would like to mention that in structural engineering the professors are really God level. Others may be a bit disappointing but still mostly all the profs give good grades.

Placement Average in terms of the offers and the packages in current scenario although some students bagged really good packages upto 20 lpa. Although figure is expected to increase . students have bagged offers in both tech and core. And obviously only few of them got the better packages in tech as we all know starting in core is much lesser.Apart from this from the core branches the no of selection in government exams is also very high.

Infrastructure Well constructed department as it is one of the oldest ones out there all the labs are there and are operational except a few . Also there are large no of faculty and scholars to help the students.

Faculty Most of them are good but still there are few who could be tough to work with but in the end mostly they all just give good grades . civil is one of the easiest branch but still a bit tedious. Some of the professors are really helpful and do private consultancy so there is a chance to get some experience from them.

Hostel The newly constructed hostels are great in condition only the older hostels are not ok. Hostel 1,2 the oldest ones are in really bad condition and need immediate repair.the girls hostel are good as they are new constructed ones. 5 stars because of the older hostel condition.
