Overall Getting quality professors for Hindi in universities is a tough task. Before joining MATS University Indore I had no idea that the university has such highly qualified and renowned professors of Hindi. It is because of them only, I am enjoying and making a living out of the thing I love the most, poetry.

Placement The placement for MA Hindi students is not very good. And the reason is only a handful of students from the course are interested in campus placements. Majority of students do their own work. They usually become poets and do stage shows, write poetry books etc.

Infrastructure MATS University campus multiple three storey buildings. The white coloured buildings compliment the greenery at the campus. The university has computer labs, spacious cafeteria, modern classrooms etc. The library is heaven for Hindi and Urdu literature lovers. It has collections of work of Kabir, Jaishankar Prasad, Faiz Ahmad Faiz etc.

Faculty Usually very few people enrol into MA Hindi. This is why the student faculty ratio is 20:1. The Hindi Department has five to six faculty members. All faculty members have PhD degrees. The department also invites faculty from other universities to deliver guest lectures. The professors teach with utmost sincerity and passion.

Hostel The diversity present at the university can be seen in the hostel. You will find students from every corner of India. MATS University hostel offers a home-like environment to students. The boys hostel has accommodation capacity of 100 students and the girls hostel can accommodate around 350 students.
