MGM Institute of Management Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

The institute is located on sprawling lush green MGM Campus in about 2 Acres.The campus has an excellent environment which includes well furnished and highly equipped classrooms.

Boys and girls hostels with canteens, spacious playgrounds, gymnasium and swimming pool are available.

• MGM trust has established a very good set up of Boys and Girls hostels. MGM IOM shares this facility with its sister institutions within the MGM campus

•  Gymnasium and „Yoga? center (Arogyam) are available for students. c) Internet and Wi-Fi facilities are available in the campus.

•  MGM hospital is located within 300 meters, any medical emergency case is immediately taken to the said hospital.

• There is no library facility in the hostels. Libraries are located within 100- 200 meters from hostels.

•  Recreation facilities along with the common rooms are available in hostel.

•  There is no residential facility for the staff of IOM in the campus

•  Safe drinking water is made available using water coolers and water purifiers.

•  Security is ensured using institutional security staff, outsourced staff and surveillance-camera.

In 1997, the Supreme Court recognized and addressed the issue of sexual harassment at the workplace. The judgment created mandatory sexual harassment prevention guidelines for the workplace, applicable all over India. The knowledge and information about it can lead to a workplace free of sexual harassment for all persons. Ministry of law and justice recently published “The sexual harassment of woman at workplace(prevention,prohibition and redressal)” Act on 22nd April 2013,as per this act it is mandatory for every organization to have internal complaints committee. This document is to be read in conjunction with “Sexual harassment of women at workplace (Prevention,prohibition and redressal )act-2013 (copy attached) hereafter referred to as the ‘act’ Sexual harassment injects the most demeaning sexual stereotypes into the general work environment and always represents an intentional assault on a person’s innermost privacy.
