MITS School of Biotechnology, Bhubaneswar, conducts placement drives every year for BCA, B.Sc, and M.Sc students. MITS School of Biotechnology has an independent Training and Placement Cell that provides support to students and coordinates with recruiting organizations. The cell was established in 2008, making the college one of the early institutions in Odisha to set up a dedicated placement department.

Objectives of the Training & Placement Cell:

• Conduct training to improve the employability skills of students
• Arrange company visits for recruitment
• Support students in securing placements
• Organize Pre-Placement Talks (PPTs) and prepare students for competitive exams
• Establish MOUs with companies for recruitment tie-ups

Infrastructure & Facilities:

• Two group discussion rooms
• Four interview rooms
• A 12-seat conference hall
• A 250-seat air-conditioned seminar hall
• Laptops, desktops, laser printers, and Wi-Fi in the department office
• Two computer labs with 40 systems
• Audio-visual equipment, including LED TVs
